Currently loving #1

Hey Guys!

As I said in my new year post I am going to try and do current favourites rather than monthly favourites because I struggle to keep up with monthly posts. So here is what I’m currently loving.
Fashion
These are officially my new favourite pair of jeans. I really love the cut of them for a start, they just sit really nicely when I am wearing them. I think they are a bit different, I love different colour seam on the legs and the hem on them is so fun. One con I will say is they are not for wearing if you want eat your weight in pasta, they don’t have that stretchiness. But other than that they are pretty much perfect!

I picked up this scarf in November because my old Tartan scarf is starting to look a little worn and isn’t actually that cosy any more, fortunately I found this lovely in H&M and I am so glad I did. Firstly it is so soft, it is so comfy and cosy. Secondly, it is super warm, I really feel the cold so at this time of year the more layers the better for me and this scarf has been a dream come true!
I have not had this jumper off since I bought it, I just love it! I really love the colours, which although pink are still very easy to wear with everything. It is great for work and goes with so many things. I just love the style of it, it is loose and comfy without feeling as though it is scruffy. I am so glad I ordered it!

I have fallen completely in love with TU clothing. They have had so many great things in store recently, from tops to jumpers and it is all so comfortable! It is also really affordable and Sainsbury’s are always doing 30% off events on all their clothes which makes it even better.

Beauty
Lush Dream Cream
As I have mentioned before I really struggle with eczema and dry skin (the main reason I am still writing this post and not filming it). I have tried every cream under the sun, literally every cream the doctor could give me I have tried and nothing as ever seemed to work. I went to a Lush event in Livingston back in October and they suggested I try their Dream Cream. I am normally sceptical when someone tells me that it’s the best eczema cream ever and it totally works, because I have never found anything that works, but I thought I would try this stuff to see whether or not it would do anything, and I am so glad I did. Wow this stuff works wonders! I have seen such a big difference in my skin since I started using it, it hasn’t completely cleared up my eczema but it is so much better than it was. I really like the feel of the cream on my skin and having a cream that doesn’t smell like antiseptic is amazing. My skin really does just drink this up. If you have dry skin I would highly recommend.

As you guys know I have a lot of problems with my skin so I am often quite reluctant to try new products for fear it will hurt my skin. However when Glossier started delivering to the UK I was intrigued. Paige recommended this mask to me after she ordered and so I thought I’d try it. I am so glad I did buy it, it is so good. It really makes my skin feel so soft, I often sleep in it and wake up with really soft skin which is amazing.
Becca foundation
Because of my skin I haven’t been wearing a lot of make-up, but when I do I have been loving this Becca foundation. It is full coverage, which I like because it hides everything, but unlike a lot of full coverage foundations you don’t need a huge amount for it to go a really love way, in fact you need at most 2 pumps! I really like the texture of it and it is really easy to blend. I had never tried any Becca stuff before but if this is the standard of their products I will definitely be trying more!

I picked this up from Sephora when I was in Barcelona with my mum, but have only recently started using it. Firstly, I am really impressed with the cost of the Fenty stuff, it really isn’t overly pricey. Secondly, the packaging is beaut, I mean it is so simple yet so cool. Finally, the actually highlighter is amazing, it isn’t overly glittery but just gives a nice shimmer to your face which I am a big fan of, I love it!

Lifestyle
Primark hot water bottle
It has been so cold recently that I’ve really needed a hot water bottle every night. I love this little one that I got from Primark, first off it is a unicorn, who doesn’t want to snuggle with a unicorn? Secondly, it is so soft so it is really nice to snuggle and finally it really stays warm for ages!!

Aldi candles
I think these are amazing. If you haven’t seen these in Aldi, they are just like Jo Malone candles but so much cheaper. My favourites are the number 1 & 2, they both smell amazing! I was really impressed by how well they burned and how long they lasted. It burnt all the way down, there was no left over wax!
I got myself a Fitbit a couple of weeks ago and I am loving it. It is really comfortable to wear and is really encouraging me to get moving. I really like the sleep aspect of it, it is really interesting and is making me realise just how poorly I sleep. I am determined to get more active now I have this.
