September 2017 Favourites

Hey Guys!

Hope are all having a great week. As with last month I have decided that rather than film my monthly favourites I am just going to write a post. My skin is still pretty crappy so this makes me feel much more comfortable.
Fashion faves
I got these at the end of last month and have pretty much worn them every other day this month. They are super comfy, and go with everything. I am a big trainer fan, I would much rather wear a comfy pair of trainers over any other shoe. These are currently my favourite trainer and I will wear them until they are grey!

I have had these boots for a couple of years now and I still keep coming back to them. I got them from Clarks and they have just worn so well, apart from a couple of scuffs I don’t think you’d know that they were nearly 3 years old. They are just as comfy as they were when I first got them and are a great autumn/winter essential.
If you follow me on Instagram you will see I have not had this dress off all month. I am completely in love with it. It is a really great length so it sits really nicely and I can wear it with so much. I wear it to work, I wear it at the weekend and I even took it to Barcelona with me. It is just so comfy and pretty and I love it!

Comfy sweaters
I love this kind of weather purely for the fact that I get to break out all my cosy sweaters again. I love being cosy and warm this time of year, and from now till about March I will probably be wearing a variation of the same couple of jumpers each week.
Chip top
I just think this tee is adorable. I got it from the Beauty & the beast collection in Primark, and it is just the cutest thing ever. It is really soft and comfy as well. It has definitely worked its way into my staples.
Again, this was something I bought at the end of last month, but didn’t actually have a chance to wear them till this month. I actually wore them with my hair up and I thought they looked really cute. I did kind of buy them for special occasions but I did end up wearing them to work and to be honest I think it worked, they added a little sparkle to my everyday outfit.

Beauty faves
New hair
I got bored of my hair being brown last month so made a big change. I have gone super super blonde and I absolutely live it. Yes the bleach did cause my skin to get worse, but to be honest it was entirely worth it, I just think the colour is so fun.

I have only worn make up once in the last month, but when I did I used this new Becca foundation that I got a while ago from QVC. It absolutely loved it, the coverage was amazing. Because of my poor skin it is normally quite red and blotch however this covered everything up, and I haven’t had that in a long time in a foundation. Really looking forward to using it again when my skin clears us properly.
This is related to my new hair. Because I am now as blonde as I am I needed to get myself a purple shampoo. My hairdresser recommended this No Yellow and so thought I would give it a try. I really like it, it smells nice and also acts as atoner so if I feel my hair getting a bit on the brassy side I just put this on like a hair mask and it helps to restore it to its blonde glory.

Livestyle faves
I went to see this movie with Zoe and loved it. It was absolutely heart-breaking and lovely all at once. It is about how A.A.Milne wrote the first ever Winnie the Pooh book and then how this affected his relationship with his son (the real life Christopher Robin) it is just so sad. I would highly recommend to anyone however i should warn you, it is not a happy cheery movie, yes there are giggles in it but I am pretty sure there was not a dry eye in the house by the end of that movie.
I have spoken on here before about the tv show that Netflix created around this book and how much I had enjoyed it, however I had never read the book./ I finally got round to reading the book last month and absolutely loved it. It is very different from the show in that it centres around the main character Clay listening to the tapes from Hannah in just one night rather than over a course of days/weeks in the show. You also don’t get to meet any of the other characters other than Tony. Despite the topic it was really easy to read and I did really enjoy it. It is strange how different a book and tv show can turn out, what I will say is the show wouldn’t have been as good if it was exactly the same as the book.
I found this on Spotify a couple of weeks ago and loved it. Spofity had created a throwback playlist of loads of different songs that I love, it is amazing. It has some Destiny’s Child and JoJo and Foo Fighters and even some McFly. I have been listening to it loads when I need a little pick me up.

Wagon Wheels
I bought these a couple of weeks ago for my treat drawer in work and forgot how tasty they are. I like the jammie ones personally, they are just so good and really take me pack to when I was little and got them for a treat in my packed lunch box.
I mean I know we were all sceptical at first, but can we all agree that bake off still just as amazing as it used to be?! I really like all the new people, I think Noel Fielding and Sandi Toksvig are really good hosts and Prue is a great judge. Yes I miss Mel, Sue and Mary but the truth is I love Bake off just as much with them as without them.
In relation to the last one, autumn tv is just so good. All my favourite shows come back in September so I am back to getting my weekly dose of Grey’s Anatomy and Scandal which I had really missed! Even British tv is just better, there are so many more dark thrillers and dramas on which is what I love. All in all it is now just the time of year to be snuggled up in front of the tv watching great tv.

What have you been loving this month? Let me know.
