Going Out Make-Up Look

Hey Guys!

This post is something I have never done, but thought I would give it a try to see what you all thought. If you remember in March I shared some of the goodies I managed to get my hands on from the Cinderella Mac collection. Well since then I have been using the eyeshadow palette quite a bit and thought I'd show you guys a make up look I do with it.
Firstly, I start with the Benefit Stay Flawless 15 hour Primer, I feel it really does work and use it every time I go out to stop my foundation from coming of. I then use Rimmel's Wake Me Up Foundation in the colour True Ivory followed by the Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer in Cool Medium. I love the coverage of both these products, I don't find them too cakey or drying and they are really easy to use. I have been using both these products for ages and am forever repurchasing them. For foundation I use either the Real Techniques Expert Face Brush or the Real Techniques Stippling Brush, depending on which one is clean. I then use the contour brush from Real Techniques (which is in this set) for my concealer.

I love doing my eyebrows, I have quite dark eyebrows so I can't really ignore them. I use two products, both by Benefit, which I swear by. Firstly, I use the Gimme Brow Gel in Medium/Dark to shape my brows and make sure all the hairs stay in place. I then use the Brow Zings set in Medium to define the brows a little more and make sure I have no gaps etc. I love these two products, I use at least one of them every day and both for a night out. For my eyebrows I use the Mac 266 Angled brush with my Brow Zings.

This is where I use my Cinderella Mac palette. Luckily you can actually get the two shadows I use on their own. First I use Phloof (top right) over my whole eye lid, before working Satin Taupe (bottom left) into my crease and outer corner, I also put this colour on my bottom lash line, but only to about the middle of my eye. Next, I add eyelinner, I love the L'OrĂ©al Paris Super Liner Perfect Slim Intense as it is so easy to use. I just put a fine line of this on my lid, right next to my lashes. Finally, lashes. I don't often use fake lashes as I don't have the patience to do them and I'm clumsy and a little lazy, so I do for a mascara which makes my lashes look super long, such as Benefit's They're Real or Maybelline's The Falsies mascara, both of these are really good, recently I have been using the benefit one over the maybelline one, but only as I have two to use up. I use a few brushes on my eyes, first I use the Real Techniques Base Shadow Brush (it comes in this set), followed by the Mac 217 Blending brush for the shadow in my crease. I then use the Mac 219 brush for the shadow on my lower lash line.
I then would add bronzer and recently I have been using a Mac one which they no longer sell, but I also love the Nars Laguna bronzer. I put bronzer on my cheeks and then anywhere that would naturally catch the sun (pretty much my whole face). I then go for blusher, I recently have been loving Coralista by Benefit, I just think it is such a great spring/summer shade. Finally I add highlighter onto my cheeks and under my eyebrow. I use Dior's Amber Diamond (which they don't do anymore) but the new Diorskin Nude Shimmer Instant illuminating powder is similar. For my cheeks I use the Real Techniques Powder Brush for my bronzer, the Real Techniques Blush brush for my blusher and the Real Techniques Foundation brush for my highlighter.

I decided to go with a red lip with this look, I went for the L'Oreal Paris Color Riche Exclusive Reds in Blake Lively's colour cause it is a really great red, and who doesn't want to look like Blake Lively!
This look is really simple I am not very good at make up, so it would have to be, but I think it is also really pretty.

What do you think? Let me know.
