Passpost to Paris

Hey Guys!

As you probably have worked out, last weekend Paige and I went to Paris for the weekend, now we did mainly go to see Beyoncé and Jay-Z, but we also had 2 full days to explore Paris itself and do a bit of sightseeing and shopping etc, so this post is dedicated to what we saw!
We got to Paris on Friday afternoon, we had booked a transfer from the airport to the hotel we were staying at which was great, because it meant we didn't have to worry about trying to get a taxi or anything like that into town. We had booked our hotel through Expedia, but we stayed at this beautiful hotel called Hotel Eugène en Ville, which we picked for its good location and it's monochrome decor. It was lovely, could not fault it!
After freshening up (and napping) we headed to the wonderland that is Sephora (haul post of what I bought here and in the pharmacy to come) and then on to the Eiffel Tower.
We then found a wee café near the tower to sit and have coffee and watch the world go by, we even got frozen yogurt!
We then headed back to the area where our hotel was to have dinner, but we were super tired so pretty much ended up in bed as soon as we had had food!

Day 2 started with a walk up to get breakfast, before we planned our day over pain au chocolat and coffee. We walked to Avenue L'Opera, where we ventured into Parashop (a french pharmacy, another shop of dreams). We then walked down past the Louvre and onto the Pont des Arts (the bridge with all the locks on it) so we could add our lock to it.

We sat by the river for a bit before heading to a restaurant called Café Louis Phillipe, which we picked because it was actually a restaurant that was used in Gossip Girl at the start of season 4, it was also one of the things we were most excited about getting to see (which is pretty much sums up or friendship...we just love Gossip Girl). We didn't know what the food was like or how pricey it would be but it was actually amazing, the food was so tasty and it was such a sweet little café, plus we got to see some more Gossip Girl sights while we were there!
In Gossip Girl, Blair and Serena ate here!!
Chez Julien, where Blair and Serena met before going for lunch (look)!!
We ended our afternoon at Notre-Dame, before heading back to the hotel to get ready for the concert (which I am going to put in a separate post).
That's all we had time to do as we left Paris early on Sunday, but I think I will definitely go back and explore a little more, feel like there is so much more to see.

Have you guys ever been to Paris? Where did you go? Let me know!!
